Grading

It is possible to get a maximum of 110 points in the course, 50 points from the exam, 103 points from the graded quizzes, 7 points from the programming exercises, and 430 points from the project plus the possibility of up to 10 bonus points.

A requirement for passing grades (A-E) is to get at least 25 points in the exam.

Grades range from A to F, where A to E are passing grades and F is failed, according to the following table:

Points Grade 90-110 A 80-89 B 70-79 C 60-69 D 50-59 E 0-49 F Students get 7.5 credit points for the whole course, 4.5 credit points from the exam and the graded quizzes and 3 credit points from the project. However, since the project (the 3 credits) is pass/fail, the points from the project are calculated into the grade from the exam (the 4.5 credits) as described above.

The assignments is to be done in groups of two students.

In order to get the 3 credit points for the project (pass or fail) you need get at least 20 of the 40 points.
