This course addresses the business, regulatory and engineering aspects of wireless operations. It covers detailed technical concepts as well as areas of economics and business models. The course consists of three integrated parts
A strong focus is put on “learning by doing”, hence home work assignements are essential in the course. Another key element in teh course is a mobile operator business game where the participants, in a group exercise, will experience managing an operator in a competitive market.
The sessions contain lectures, exercises, seminars and a computer assisted business game. The lectures are given by KTH-based researchers and professors, leading in the area of Tele-economics, as well as guest lecturers from industry and government.
