Do you want to offer a course delivered online or in blended mode but need help in order to create one? Then this is the course for you!
In this project-based 1,5 credit course, participants independently review theories about learning design for online or blended courses in their field and then design and produce their own course.
The process is supported by a supervisor for each participant who support course design work. KTH resources on teacher support for e-learning will also be used in the course.
This project course work includes designing an online or blended course but will take more time than 40 hours since the practical work of producing the actual course is not included. The examination consists of the actual creation of a course and a documentation of the process.
The course is tailored for teachers at KTH. It is included in course offerings that meet KTH's requirement of 15 credits in academic teaching for employment or promotion to a teaching position.
Prerequisites to this course is LH231V/LH201V, or equivalent course in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, minimum 7,5 credits and LH218V/LH228V, or equivalent course in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, minimum 3 credits.
