Date: September 12, 2023

Location: KTH Värmeverket (Turbin Hall), Drottning Kristinas väg 14, 114 28 Stockholm

Discussions on energy and its implications are necessary. In September, NAVET collaborated with KTH Energy Platform, KTH’s Industrial Transformation Platform, and KTH Climate Action Center and hosted a climate inspired performance by students from KMH and SKH The event also housed talks by Nate Hagens and Olivia Lazard. Nate Hagens is Director of The Institute for the Study of Energy & Our Future (ISEOF), and also runs a very popular podcast - 'The Great Simplification' - with a focus on the environment and sustainability. Olivia Lazard is peace researcher and fellow at Carnegie Europe, specialising in climate geopolitics.

The event was held as part of Stockholm Impact Week 2023, during which Hagens and Lazard both delivered keynote speeches. These talks opened the way for an open provocative dialogues between all the participants about climate change, energy usage, our collective and personal responsibilities, and the role of institutions like KTH.
