From the approaches focusing on ecology as a way of understanding the diverse and intertwining networks cities comprise of to focus on urban greening strategies and appreciation that urban nature in many places are and can be important for biodiversity. At the same time, can conceptualizing nature as a model, tool or infrastructure limit the way we understand our own interaction with nature? Will concept such as green infrastructure and ecosystem services bring us closer to nature or further apart?
