The exhibition has been produced by the students in Master Studio 4, spring term 2015, led by Charlie Gullström and Ori Merom.

The exhibition ANOTHER EARTH addresses the role of temporary architecture in our future society. To meet the challenges of global warming and our planet’s limited resources, our nineteen students have explored new materials and innovative technologies that are applicable to extreme living conditions. This could be a tropical disaster area in the southern hemisphere; a temporary building in the extreme north; or perhaps even a building on Mars.

The works displayed were also entries for the Inspired-by-Space Pavilion Competition organised by Studio 4 and KTH in collaboration with NCC.

The winning project by Stefania Dinea has been built inside the Dome of Visions over the summer and will be inaugurated on 22 September in the presence of 100 astronauts, as part of the international astronaut conference Inspired-by-Space, hosted by astronaut Christer Fuglesang, KTH Space Center.
