On Thursday, 11 April at 12, it's time for the grand opening of the new study area Arcade Hall at the KTH Library. We have long awaited more study spaces and more opportunities for learning and collaboration. Now, we're opening the doors to this exciting space, complete with five new group rooms. This is not just an opening – it's a journey back to a nostalgic era of gaming! 🎮

Everyone interested is welcome to the opening where we'll offer snacks and drinks.

During the opening, you have the opportunity to showcase your skills in retro video games. If you manage to defeat a librarian, you can win one of the limited edition fabric patches available at the library.

During the opening, there will also be an exhibition about the cult computer game Stugan ("The Cottage"). Stugan was developed by Viggo Eriksson (now Kann), along with Kimmo Eriksson and Olle E Johansson. Today, Viggo Kann and his brother Kimmo are professors at KTH and Mitthögskolan respectively.
