The research landscape is rich with openly available data, but how do you find and make use of it? This workshop will introduce strategies for locating datasets in relevant repositories and showcase examples of data re-use. Additionally, we will walk you through examples on how you can setup a basic visualisation workflow for exploratory data analysis using notebooks (Quarto). With a focus on data reuse and techniques for uncovering insights through graphical representation, you will learn methods for extracting meaningful patterns and insights.

The session is aimed at doctoral students and researchers and is held in English. If you are a doctoral student or researcher at another university, you are welcome to join. This webinar is hosted by the KTH Library and part of an Aalto-KTH seminar exchange.

No registration needed – just join us on Zoom at the scheduled time.
