Logasubramaniyan Raja Shanmugam

Logasubramaniyan (Logu) is a master’s student in Sustainable Technology. He has always loved being close to nature. Long walks or climbing in the forest are some of his favourite things to do. His love for growing plants started with his father, who has a beautiful rooftop garden back home. He grows everything from flowers to fruits and herbs, and Logu used to help him when he was a kid—and still does whenever he visits. That’s where his inspiration for home gardening comes from, and he is so excited to share it with others!

This workshop is fully booked.

We’ll use small pots, a bit of sunlight, a bit of love and some simple care tips to make your plants grow. You’ll learn how to plant seeds, grow a sapling from an existing plant, and take care of them until you can harvest your own fresh herbs or veggies for everyday use.

There will be 15 small pots available—each with different plants or seeds that you can choose to plant and take it home, it’s first come, first served!

And the best part? When winter hits in Sweden, this is a cozy and fun indoor activity. With just a small lamp, you can keep your green friends happy all year round.

This is the second of three student workshops at the library in the autumn of 2025. The purpose is to allow students to share their knowledge with each other and meet in an informal and fun way.
