Fun with Mental Maths – Abacus Workshop
Join us for a fun and interactive session on the power of the abacus and mental mathematics!

Together we will explore the fascinating history of the abacus, learn the basics of how to use it, and discover how these techniques can sharpen focus, memory, and calculation speed. We will also try out speed writing and mental abacus exercises that train quick thinking and visualization skills. A fika break will be included, offering a chance to relax, chat, and reflect on the experience. Some abacuses will be provided, but please bring your own, if possible.
The workshop is open to all KTH students, with places limited to 20 participants.
