Library Resources for Online Learning

Published Mar 25, 2020

We have many e-resources that you can access through the library, that can be extra helpful in the current circumstances.

The most obvious, perhaps, is journal articles, books and book chapters which can be searched through the library search engine Primo. The e-resources can also be found for through Web of Science, Business Source Elite and Art and Architecture complete.

These databases do not cover everything we have, but the results can be much more precise depending on your subject area.

Some collections do lend themselves better for online learning due to their structure. One such example is O'Reilly's Learning Platform for Higher Education with Learning Paths, Instructional Videos and Expert Playlists. One of these playlist is “Working Remotely Can Work for Everyone”. Worth checking out!

Another resource which should be mentioned is JoVE, Journal of Visualized Experiments. These are step-by-step instructions on how to perform laboratory work in a variety of subjects, such as chemistry, bioengineering and biology.

Links to all the resources mentioned above can be find on the library webpage .
