Thematic research areas in Life Science
The seven thematic research themes within the multidisciplinary Life Science at KTH aim to contribute to human well-being. Both the basic and applied research conducted at KTH mainly concerns human health and the healthcare system, but also adjacent areas, for example, environment and sustainability.
For many years KTH's research within life science was defined as medical and biomedical technology. Today we describe the research using seven thematic research areas:
