Cover of the book Beloved

During the autumn semester 2024 we will read and discuss Toni Morrison’s Beloved, which is a story about Sethe that escapes slavery and lives at 124 Bluestone Road with her daughter Denver. Memories of her past keep coming back and so does her dead daughter Beloved. Beloved is a story that can be discussed from many perspectives, for example slavery and freedom, loss and love, home and exile. The book discussion is part of the KTH Library’s contribution to the overall equality work at KTH. The aim is to create a common arena for all KTH to discuss questions of gender equality, sustainability and equal rights and together contribute to the elimination of inequalities.

More information and registration to the book discussion will be published soon.
