Australia: University of Technology, Sydney

University of Technology Sydney is located in three different campuses in the city of Sydney and is ranked among the ten best Australian universities and among the top 300 universities of the world. More than 44,000 students study at the university of which more than 11,000 are international.

Note: Courses within Business are open to exchange students, if they fulfill the prerequisites. An additional insurance, if staying in the country more than two weeks after the exchange studies have been finalized, is required.

Exchange opportunities

Number of spots: three semester spots.
Grade requirements: No, but there is a credit requirement of 180 ECTS (= 3 years/Bachelor level) by the application in January for enrolment on the Post graduate level. A minimum of one VG in one of the courses in English at the upper secondary school.

Increased costs for student visas for Australia

On 1 July 2024, the Australian Department of Home Affairs announced an increased cost for student visas for Australia. The student visa fee is now AUD 1600.00 (~EUR 1000). Australian universities are working together to highlight the impact on exchange students who plan to study in Australia.
