Japan: Waseda University

Waseda University, founded in 1882, is one of Japan's largest institutions of higher education and advanced research. It is a private university with almost 53,000 students, of which approximately 4,900 are international students. The university is spread on nine campuses over the capital Tokyo.

Academic calendar: April-September, October-March
Credit system: 15 credits equivalent to 30 hp

Grade requirements: a minimum of 4,0 (on KTH's scale of 5). TOEFL result is required
