Portugal: Universidade do Porto

The university is situated in Porto, Portugal's second largest city. It is located in the northern part of the country. The Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) was founded in 1976. The school is located in a building designed by Álvaro Siza.

Exchange opportunities

Number of spots: 1 full-year spot or 2 semester spots (autumn semester only)
Grade requirements: It is mandatory for architecture students that applies for exchange studies to submit a portfolio. The quality of the portfolio is evaluated by a jury that consist of the Programme Directors and a team of teachers at the School of Architecture. By reviewing the portfolio, the jury assesses whether the applicant can be considered to be nominated for an exchange spot.
