Tanzania: University of Dar es Salaam

University of Dar es Salaam, UDSM, is the oldest and biggest university in Tanzania, established in 1961. The main campus is situated in the Observation Hill area, 13 kilometres from Dar es Salaam city centre. Here lecture halls, student dorms, restaurants and research centres share the green campus space. UDSM is a public university that offers Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral Degrees to the university’s 27 000 students.
