The 2019 Tekla Festival
After four years at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Stockholm campus, the Tekla Festival moved to KTH Södertälje in 2019. The aim was to reach a greater number of girls who were inquisitive about technology.
KTH in Södertälje opened its doors to the Tekla Festival in autumn 2019. Just over 200 girls took part in a day full of workshops and inspirational speakers. Accompanying adults were also able to benefit from interesting information in their own lounge. Helping ensure the festival’s smooth running, some thirty KTH student ambassadors attended to guide and lead groups while also being on hand to give their views on what it is like to study technology-oriented subjects.
