Research profile at the Department of Environmental Physiology

Michail's research is focused on the independent and combined effects of environmental factors (i.e. high-altitude, micro- and hyper-gravity, cold, heat) and behavioural (i.e., exercise, sleep) stressors on physiological responses in humans, with special reference to cardiovascular, respiratory, muscular and thermoregulatory functions.
