Abdullah Ahsan Ahmed

I am pursuing my PhD in the Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science, and Engineering (SEED), with Professor Anna Björklund as my main supervisor. My co-supervisors are Professor Malin Åkermo from KTH's Department of Engineering Mechanics and Guillaume Ratouit from Toray Advanced Composites. My research focuses on "Environmental Prospective Life Cycle Assessment for Innovative Recycling Processes and Recycled Materials" within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network (DN) called "FibReLoop".

I am originally from Bangladesh and completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics in India. Subsequently, I completed a dual Master’s degree in Sustainable Materials (EIT-KIC SUMA Master Programme on Sustainable Materials) from the University of Milano-Bicocca and KU Leuven.
