About me
I am a Professor in Environmental Strategic Research. My main research interest is application of environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for policy and planning purposes and for assessment of emerging technologies, often in combination with future scenarios in prospective LCA studies. Application areas involve for instance local and national waste planning, waste valorisation and resource recovery, circular economy, and transport systems.
I teach LCA at advanced (Master) level, ICT and sustainability, and supervise Master degree projects. I am also Director of studies at the Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering (SEED)
