Synthesizer Design and Manufacturing

One of my hobbies are to design and manufacture modular synthesizer modules. In particular I make Serge ("the peoples synthesizer") style modules. Here are some that I have designed and manufactured. Don't hesitate to contact me if you are passionate about these things!

New version of the classic Dual Universal Slope Generator

Original circuit design by Serge Tcherepning. This version is mainly an improvement in terms of DIY friendly construction. However, it do add some tuning capabilities and convienient switches to the front panel.

Dual VCEMO - a CEM3340 VCO with Serge flavours

This voltage controlled oscillator is based on the iconic Curtis Electronic Music IC CEM3340 that can be found in many classical analog synthesisers. My circuit design is focused adapting it to the Serge ecosystem so that it works and sounds excellent with other Serge modules. Output waveforms are razor sharp and the module has a very nice sine waveshape. Features include 1V/OCT control, sync, voltage controlled PWM, and various FM modulation capabilities.

MIDI and Dual Euclidian Rhythm (in fabrication)

The Midi module facilitates one midi controlled voice, however, this module is unusal in that the midi channel of choice is voltage controllable through analog binary inputs (4 bits). This allows voltage to change midi channel and provides interesting opportunities for on the fly planed or randomized compositions.
