PhD Researcher

Ahmed Sayem is a PhD student at the department of Industrial Engineering of Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), and at the department of Industrial Economics and Management of KTH, in the European Doctorate in Industrial Management (EDIM) program. 

He received his Master of Science degree in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi), Italy. Holds B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering, from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. He was awarded an ICE-UNIONCAMERE (Merit based) Scholarship to study his M.Sc.; and university merit scholarship during studying his B.Sc.Engineering. 

His research interests involve divers areas of industrial management viz. Global Manufacturing, International Manufacturing Network, Supply Chain Management Management and Cost Accounting, Productivity Assessment and Improvement, etc. He has successfully completed various research projects in these fields.
