About me
I am a postdoc funded by Digital Futures Fellowship at the Topological Data Analysis group. My research focuses on applying robust tools from topological data analysis to understand the main characteristics of complex data from dementia patients, in collaboration with Karolinska Institute. I also explore machine learning tools for personalised healthcare, where patients are assigned medications they would respond best to, based on their clinical profiles.
I did my PhD in biomathematics at the University of Bergen, Norway. I worked with mathematical and computational models to quantitatively explore questions in cellular an evolutionary biology, particularly about mitochondria. My master degree is also from the University of Bergen, in topological data analysis. I took my bachelor in mathematics in Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, where I am from.
