Birger Axelsson

I am a doctoral student in real estate economics interested in research on issues related to housing, land policy, economics of the built environment, REITs and applied AI with machine learning and deep learning. In my doctoral project, I utilize time-series econometric methods in real estate finance.

In the past, I have primarily investigated and analyzed the municipal land allocation process in Sweden in various ways. In connection to this topic, I have experience of working as a secretary in a public inquiry (Byggrättsutredningen (N 2017:06)).
