About me

I am a researcher at the Maritime Robotics group at the KTH Centre for Naval Architecture. My background is in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (B.Eng. in 2015, M.Sc. in 2017). In 2022, I was awarded the PhD degree in Vehicle and Maritime Engineering from KTH with a thesis on performance optimization for underwater vehicles, supervised by Prof. Jakob Kuttenkeuler.

My work is partly financed by the Swedish Maritime Robotics Centre (SMaRC), which also hosts the Maritime Robotics Laboratory at KTH (project coordinators Peter Sigray and Jakob Kuttenkeuler). My research interest focuses on the use of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and other marine technology in environmental research, particularly in the Polar sciences, as well as the use of marine drones for surveillance/homeland security.

I am currently involved in several research projects. Highlights:
