Didier Bathellier
About me
I am a French postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Physics, Nuclear Engineering division, from April 2022 to April 2024. My research focuses on the properties of metallic alloys (using atom-scale simulation methods) with chemical and magnetic complexity used in Generation IV Swedish reactors.
Before being employed at KTH, I obtained a Master Degree in Theoretical Physics at Aix-Marseille University (France) and I carried out a PhD at CEA Cadarache from 2018 to 2021. My PhD thesis deals with the calculations of thermodynamic and point defect properties of uranium-plutonium mixed oxide fuels using electronic structure methods and empirical interatomic potential.
