Academic background

Awarded a PhD on 12 December 2013 with the thesis *Financing Secured by Real Estate – Purchase, Mortgage, Lease and the Limits of the Land Code*, Jure AB.

Since 2014, Senior Lecturer in private law specialising in land law at the Department of Law, Stockholm University.

In 2016/17, postdoctoral researcher at Christ Church, University of Oxford.

Extensive experience of academic subject and course leadership in the role of subject coordinator and course coordinator at the Department of Law, Stockholm University. Head of the Property Law programme 2014–16 and 2017–19, course coordinator for the introductory course in Civil Law D and the specialised course in Core Property Law since 2014.

Collaboration

Co-initiator of the interdisciplinary research network Forum for Housing Research Stockholm (FBS). FBS operates in collaboration with Fastighetsägarna Sverige and Sveriges allmännytta.

Ordinary member of the Tenancy Law Discussion Club (HDK). HDK organises seminars in the subject areas of tenancy, tenant-owned housing and leasehold. The aim of the HDK’s board is to provide an open forum for legal discussion. The board includes representatives from, amongst others, the interest organisations Fastighetsägarna (Sweden and Stockholm) and the Swedish Union of Tenants, Sveriges allmännytta, Stockholm University, and the Rent and Leasehold Tribunal in Stockholm.
