About me
I have a long-standing interest in understanding and modeling sustainable development and climate change processes. Previous studies involve environmental technology, environmental economics, and sustainable development. In previous projects, I have led projects focused on water conflict and cooperation, hydroclimatic changes, carbon sequestration, evaluating the first/last mile problem in public transport, and mapping potential changes to Arctic wetlands given different climate change scenarios. My current focus is mainly on climate change adaptation strategies and nature-based solutions.
Research areas
Water-related conflict and cooperation
Nature-based solutions and ecosystem services
Combined effects of land use and climate change on hydrological responses
Sustainable urban and rural development (transport, green infrastructure, accessibility, carbon sequestration)
