I am currently a student enrolled in the KPU program (kompletterande pedagogisk utbildning), hoping to become a licensed teacher in mathematics and physics.
I was previously a PhD student at the Division of Decision and Control Systems. I studied there from January 2018, supervised by Mikael Johansson, and defended my thesis successfully in May 2024.
The theme of my research was algorithms for solving optimization problems, specifically ones that make use of the Hessian of the objective function. In particular, I have studied quasi-Newton algorithms and their limited memory adaptions.
