About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, KTH Royal Institute of Technology. My primary research interest is to explore the relationship between structure and magnetic properties of materials. I have been actively bridging atomistic calculations with experimental results, to develop high and medium entropy alloys for various applications.

Currently, I am focused on a green solution for hard metals (WC-Co). The aim is to put forward a robust design strategy for identifying the best alternative to the Co binder phase, which performs equally well as Co but does not produce any harmful particles upon manufacturing and use of the hard metal products. I will select and apply the first-principles technique based on DFT, which allows us to perform calculations for multicomponent solid solutions.
