Work Experience
My professional experience has been deeply rooted in research and innovation within the realm of health technologies. It truly began when I was accepted as a Research Intern and later as an Reserche Assistant at the Open Innovation Laboratory in Health Technologies (LIO) in Montréal from 2022 to 2023. At LIO, I was involved in developing an electromechanical knee simulator for inertial sensor calibration, utilising skills in 3D modelling, MATLAB programming, and electronics. My role also included managing projects according to the ISO13485 standard, underscoring my expertise in health technology development and regulatory compliance.
In 2023, I worked as a Research Student at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Centre (CRNL), where I focused on designing a portable multimodal emotional biomarker recording system to aid individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This project aimed to enhance emotional monitoring and biofeedback to help people with ASD in their daily life and to provide researcher with a reliable tool for at home studies.
Additionally, I have been an active member of the Board of Directors at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) since 2022, representing the student body and participating in various sub-committees. My responsibilities included contributing to the Board of Studies, Student Life and Success Subcommittee, and the Institutional Discipline Committee. I also co-chaired the Student Charter Committee and engaged in several ad hoc committees, highlighting my leadership skills and commitment to improving the academic environment.
