About me
Hello! I am currently a Master's student in Medical Engineering, starting this journey in August 2024.
I previously completed a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Health Technologies from École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) in Montréal, and I hold a DEC in Industrial Electronics from Teccart Institute.
Professionally, I have worked as a Research Assistant at the Open Innovation Laboratory in Health Technologies (LIO) in Montréal, where I developed an electromechanical knee simulator. Later, I was a Research Student at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Centre (CRNL), creating a portable emotional biomarker recording system for autism support. I was also an active member of the Board of Directors at ÉTS, contributing to various committees and initiatives.
I have been recognised with the Lieutenant-Governor Youth Medal and the Génie+ award from ÉTS. My team and I won first place in the Pan-Canadian Innovation Think Tank Certification Programme (ITTCP) for our healthcare solutions.
My skills include electrical engineering, health technologies, computer-aided design, and programming in languages like C, C++, and Python. I thrive in team settings, have strong leadership abilities, and am detail-oriented.
Outside of academics, I love music and play the Shakuhachi, a traditional Japanese flute. I'm a classical music enthusiast; can listen to Holst's "The Planets" all day. I also enjoy drinking tea, especially Pu-erh and Gyokuro.
I am passionate about electronics in the medical field, with interests in electrophysiology, neurophysiology, and signal and image processing. I look forward to a career that merges these interests to advance medical technolog.
