Faik Ozan Özhan

I am a PhD student in Visual Optics with research focused on multifocal contact lenses for peripheral vision.

I also serve as Vice-Chair of the PhD Student Council at the School of Engineering Sciences.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics. After completing a master’s degree focused on the ophthalmic applications of optics, my research experience increased my interest for practical optical technologies that enhance visual performance, leading me to pursue a PhD in visual optics.

I'm a teaching assistant in Optics 1 and Optics 2 for the optometry students at Karolinska Institute.
