About me

I am an engineer and researcher at KTH who is currently working on the digital transformation and sustainable development of steelmaking. My work combines metallurgical principles on the EAF route and data-driven process optimization. I am particularly interested in the design, implementation and optimization of smart systems in industrial applications.

My academic background includes an MSc in Production and Management Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), Greece, and an MSc in Engineering Materials Science from KTH, Sweden. Previously, I worked on the HIYIELD EU project under the supervision of Professor Björn Glasser and Dr. Sudhanshu Kuthe, where I developed an application for optimizing the steel scrap layering based on results from historical industrial data.

My current work involves the development of a computer vision (CV) application with the aim of automating sessile drop experiments at the Micro-Modelling Lab (Room K130).
