About me
Johanna Fager is a Lecturer at the KTH School of Architecture, an architect SAR/MSA, M.Arch, and artist.
Her interdisciplinary practice moves between architecture, public art, and artistic research, focusing on the relationship between the body, place, sound, memory, and material. Through architecture, text, image, sound, and installations, she explores how we experience and move through different environments. Her work is characterised by an iterative approach in which sketching, experimentation, and writing are central tools.
She has a long-standing collaboration with Hultén Olsson Arkitekter, where she works on complex, large-scale architectural projects. She is also one of three people leading the international interdisciplinary art project PUBLIC RETREAT.
