About me

I am a PhD candidate in Interaction Design working at EECS department and Media Technology and Interaction Design division. Broadly, my research is situated in the intersections of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), design, and Science and Technology Studies (STS). My research explores tangible interaction design for intimate health and chronic conditions through participatory and body-centred approaches. I use critical feminist scholarship to understand how people co-constitute bodily knowledge using technology and interrogate tech-embedded norms on health and dis/abilities that shape this knowledge. I am interested in exploring the potential of novel materials (e.g., soft robotics, shape-changing materials, and e-textiles) to design more inclusive and curious ways of interacting with and fostering situated cultivation of bodily knowledge. My recent projects explore pneumatic and shape-changing interactions for menstrual pain care and everyday movement support.

I am part of the Interaction Design (IxD) Team and I often collaborate with my colleagues on different projects. I was also one of the co-organisers of the Digital Futures FemTech and Feminist Tech focus period in 2025.

Before joining KTH, I studied MSc in Design for Interaction at TU Delft (Delft, Netherlands), and BAs in Information Science and Culture Studies (ISC) and German Language Education at Seoul National University (Seoul, South Korea).
