Jose Francisco Serrano Claumarchirant

I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellow at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where my research focuses on advanced materials for energy harvesting and thermal management.

I obtained my PhD in Chemistry from the University of Valencia, working on the synthesis, processing, and characterization of hybrid materials based on conductive polymers for energy harvesting. I subsequently held postdoctoral positions at Queen Mary University of London, KTH, and Instituto de Tecnología Química (ITQ-CSIC), where I expanded my research towards printable and flexible thermoelectric materials, hybrid nanocomposites and device integration.

My current research interests include thermoelectric materials and generators, solution-processed and printable functional materials, nanomaterials, hybrid organic–inorganic systems, photothermal materials, radiative cooling, and multiphysics modelling. I am particularly interested in combining materials chemistry, device engineering and thermal management to develop flexible and wearable energy-harvesting technologies.
