Dr. Kajsa Hallberg Adu is an interdisciplinary social scientist and expert in higher education research, knowledge production, and migration.

Dr. Hallberg Adu has taught politics, ethics, diversity and inclusion, and communication and supervised theses at top-ranked universities Ashesi University, Uppsala University, and KTH Royal institute of technology.

She was listed among the top 100 scientists on Social Media in 2022 and is a Senior Advisor to the think-tank Global Challenge on issues of migration, democracy, and equality.

She has previously worked for the anti-corruption initiative Klarity within the Norrsken Foundation and for NubianVR, a Ghanaian virtual reality producer, and was the host of the television program Frontline on Ghana's largest private television channel TV3 before the 2012 Ghana elections.

Dr. Hallberg Adu holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ghana with a thesis on the future aspirations of young Ghanaians, "On a course to migrate? Migration aspirations among university students in Ghana". Her postdoc at the Nordic Africa Institute mapped higher education on the continent focusing on the subject of political science.

At KTH, she is currently coordinating research projects including IncluSTEM collecting best practices on refugee inclusion in higher education in Europe and do research on the experience and effects of the ESF and Wallenberg supported Software Development Academy (SDA) project. In the project Fordonsdalen, Dr. Hallberg Adu has a coordinating role.
