My project is funded by the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority and involves measuring radioactive doses in volumes of sub-cell sizes, down to nanometer scale. The research is of importance for the society as a whole (radiation protection) but specifically in radiation therapy, where knowledge of the radiative effect on nanometric targets, such as DNAs, are not fully understood.
