Om mig

I am a PhD Student in Technology and Health at the Division of Health Informatics and Logistics. My PhD research examines the socio-technical dimensions of conversational artificial intelligence (AI) to support mental health. It encompasses participatory design methodologies, technical system development, and the exploration of policy and governance frameworks shaping AI-enabled care platforms. With my research I hope to question dominant narratives of techno-positivism in mental healthcare, and to foreground alternative, care-centered AI futures.

I earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Dublin CIty University in 2015 and a M.Sc. in Machine Learning from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2023. Oustide of academia, I have worked as a Data Analyst and Business Intelligence consultant.

Teaching & Supervision:

I am a teacher on CM2008 Entrepreneurship in Technology and Health, and CM2010 Sociocultural Perspectives to Innovative Technologies, where I teach AI and ML Ethics. I am a guest lecturer on AK2011 Technology and Ethics.

I supervised the following masters theses:

Yuqi Sun - M.Sc. in Embedded Systems (2024, KTH) MeditAI: Fine-Tuning Pre-trained Large Language Models for Guided Mindfulness Practice

Laura Ortiz Mengual - M.Sc. in Innovative Technology for Healthy Living (2025, KTH) Age-Inclusive User Interface Design for an AI Mindfulness App (LugnAI)
