About me

My name is Mohammad Arbabpour Bidgoli, and I am currently conducting research as a visiting scholar in the Division of Transport and System Analysis, housed within the Department of Urban Planning and Environment at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology). The primary objective of my research is to identify the factors influencing how people perceive safety and comfort while cycling. I focus on processing cyclists' behavioral and neurological responses and developing models to gain a deeper understanding of their perceptions. This includes examining various cycling infrastructure designs, traffic conditions, and built environments, considering different weather conditions and times of day and night. To achieve this goal, I employed a cycling simulator equipped with virtual reality (VR) technology and an electroencephalography (EEG) device.
