Prapanpong Damsongsaeng

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Rail Vehicles, Department of Engineering Mechanics, School of Engineering Sciences (SCI). I obtained a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Vehicle and Maritime Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology with the thesis titled "Control systems and control strategies of active wheelset steering of railway vehicles". I graduated with a Master of Science degree with a specialization in Railway Engineering from KTH in 2020. My research interests include rail vehicle dynamics and control, active suspensions of railway vehicles and roller rig.

I have been an active member of the KTH Scale Roller Rig project, a testing facility for the experimental study of railway running gears. I am mainly responsible for instrumentation and commissioning.
