About me

I am pursuing a Ph.D. degree in vehicle engineering and specialize in mathematical optimization. My current research applies combinatorial optimization to study the effects of driverless multipurpose vehicles on system efficiency and sustainability in city transportation, within the broader field of emerging heavy-duty road transportation solutions for cities. My supervisors are Mikael Nybacka, Ciaran J. O'Reilly, and Erik Jenelius and my industrial supervisor is Martin Hede at TRATON AB.

Before starting doctoral studies at the end of 2021, I obtained an M.S. degree in engineering mechanics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, focusing on solid mechanics and fluid mechanics. In 2015, I obtained a B.S. degree in architecture at Lund University.

The research is conducted with TRATON AB, Scania CV AB, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and is connected to the Integrated Transport Research Lab (ITRL), the Center for ECO2 Vehicle Design, and the strategic research area TRENoP at KTH. It was supported by the Strategic Vehicle Research and Innovation (FFI) program [grant numbers 2020-00565 and 2022-00636].
