Rémy Jean Francis Rey

I am a PhD student in the Division of Media Technology and Interaction Design at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. My team, Sustainable Futures Lab, focuses on leveraging information technologies to support the transition toward a earth compatible society.

My own research aims to develop new and innovative ways for operators of the electric grid to monitor and manage the increasingly complex and dynamic Swedish energy system. This is essential to ensure a reliable, secure, and sustainable supply of energy to consumers.

The work is highly interdisciplinary, drawing on knowledge from a variety of fields, including electrical engineering, computer science, psychology, and design. My approach to tackling this project includes data visualisations, study of human factors and a holistic view of sustainability.
