Rebecka Engström (born Segerström) is a PhD candidate at the unit of Energy Systems at the department och Energy Technology.
My research focus lies on developing approaches for assessing the interactions between Climate change, Land use development, Energy planning and Water resource strategies (CLEWs). The PhD work emphasizes CLEWs interlinkages in cities, where demand for energy, water and food is increasing with urbanisation.
Before joining the division, I worked with integrated water-energy modelling at Brookhaven National Laboratory, NY, USA, and I hold a MSc in Socio-technical Systems Engineering from Uppsala University.
