Sarah Vandenbulcke

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the division of biomedical imaging. My current work focuses on using finite element models to link parameters derived from advanced diffusion magnetic resonance imaging to brain mechanics and is part of the Advanced Magnetic Resonance Elastography for the Brain project. I am particularly interested in the biomechanics of the brain and its surrounding fluids (i.e., interstitial and cerebrospinal fluids) and in medical imaging. By combining these areas, I aim to gain more insight into how brain microstructure and mechanics are connected.
