Accessible data sets

Large amount of data presented as charts or tables are often perceived as inaccessible by many people with disabilities. For example, blind persons struggle with accessing the data and people with cognitive disabilities can get overwhelmed and confused by information overload.

With funding from the Post- and Telecom Authority we have developed an accessible example by using the data from Swedes with Disabilities and the Internet. The result is a tool where researchers can upload data sets and the data will be presented according to accessibility requirements. Take a look at the Datavisning web site!
