Viktor Holmgren

Viktor Holmgren has a masters degree in engineering from KTH. While pursuing his PhD he also works at Capio St Göran’s hospital as a Strategic and Operative Healthcare Analyst focused on insights through data driven decision making and participates in executing various implementations projects.

Viktor’s research investigates data driven decision making in healthcare, with a focus on hospital strategies and operations. Current studies explore:

• Managing hospital transitions due to critical conditions, which covers relevant considerations and decisions needed for a successful shift to treating new and severe condition
• Data evidence for the implications of trade-offs between patient focused care and flow on one hand and operational flexibility on the other
