Om mig
I'm a PhD student at the Robotics, Perception and Learning lab (RPL), formerly Computer Vision and Active Perception lab (CVAP). My research interests include learning and embodied cognition in robotics, based on computer vision and machine learning. I've been studying relations between perception and action, building models from sensorimotor contingencies e.g. applied to objects that a robot can manipulate, where knowledge emerges from self-experience grounded in interactive observation of action-effects.
My former background is software engineer in the aerospace industry, in France and Italy. I've been involved with system design, integration and operations of ground segments for observation satellites.
I've been Teaching Assistant for the following courses in Computer Science:
- DD2423 Computer Vision
- DD2429 Computational Photography
- DD1346 Object Oriented Program Construction
- DN1214 Numeriska Metoder
One of my hobbies is film photography and I'm fascinated by the essence of light. I've long been active as a board member of Knepp, the THS/KTH Student's Photo Club, where we have a beautiful darkroom. Contact me if interested!
